What Is an Upside Down Text Generator?

How Upside Down Text Works

Upside down text works in 2 steps: character mapping and reversal. Unicode holds turned letters made for phonetics, such as ɐ (U+0250, turned a), ǝ (U+01DD, turned e) and ɥ (U+0265, turned h). The generator swaps each letter for its turned match, then reverses the order, so the first letter lands at the end. Some letters need no stand-in: H, I, N, O, S, X, Z, l, o, s, x and z look the same after a 180-degree turn.
