What Is a Number Font Generator?
A number font generator is a text converter that swaps each digit, or each whole number, for a styled Unicode character such as a bold, circled or Roman numeral. The same tool goes by fancy number generator, number style generator, number text generator, stylish number maker and number fonts copy and paste tool.
How Number Fonts Work
Unicode stores styled digits in 5 sets of the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block: bold 𝟎 (U+1D7CE), double-struck 𝟘 (U+1D7D8), sans-serif 𝟢 (U+1D7E2), sans-serif bold 𝟬 (U+1D7EC) and monospace 𝟶 (U+1D7F6). Circled, parenthesized and period numbers come from the Enclosed Alphanumerics block from ① (U+2460), and Roman numerals from the Number Forms block from Ⅰ (U+2160). The generator converts digit by digit, and turns whole numbers into single characters where Unicode has one, such as 12 into ⑫.
How to Use the Number Font Generator
To use the number font generator, type numbers or a line with numbers, copy a number style, and paste it. The process takes 4 steps:
- Type the numbers, such as a date, a score or a year, in the box at the top. Letters stay as they are.
- Scan the number styles: styled digits, enclosed numbers, Roman numerals and world digits.
- Tap Copy on the style you want.
- Paste the numbers into a bio, a caption, a list or a game name.

Circled and Enclosed Numbers From 1 to 50
Unicode has single circled characters for whole numbers up to 50, and the generator uses them automatically. Here is every enclosed number set:
| Set | Numbers | Unicode start |
|---|---|---|
| Circled 1 to 20 | ① ② ③ … ⑩ … ⑳ | U+2460 |
| Circled 21 to 35 | ㉑ ㉒ ㉓ … ㉟ | U+3251 |
| Circled 36 to 50 | ㊱ ㊲ ㊳ … ㊿ | U+32B1 |
| Black circled 1 to 20 | ❶ ❷ ❸ … ❿ ⓫ … ⓴ | U+2776, U+24EB |
| Double circled 1 to 10 | ⓵ ⓶ ⓷ … ⓾ | U+24F5 |
| Parenthesized 1 to 20 | ⑴ ⑵ ⑶ … ⒇ | U+2474 |
| With periods 1 to 20 | ⒈ ⒉ ⒊ … ⒛ | U+2488 |
| Keycaps 0 to 10 | 0️⃣ 1️⃣ 2️⃣ … 9️⃣ 🔟 | Emoji |
Numbers above 50 have no single circled character, so the generator circles each digit: ⑦⑤.
Roman Numerals
Roman numerals use 7 letters: Ⅰ (1), Ⅴ (5), Ⅹ (10), Ⅼ (50), Ⅽ (100), Ⅾ (500) and Ⅿ (1,000). The generator converts any number from 1 to 3,999 into Unicode Roman numeral characters, and uses the single characters Ⅰ to Ⅻ for 1 to 12. Here are 4 examples:
- Clock numbers: Ⅰ Ⅱ Ⅲ Ⅳ Ⅴ Ⅵ Ⅶ Ⅷ Ⅸ Ⅹ Ⅺ Ⅻ
- Years: ⅯⅭⅯⅩⅭⅠⅩ · ⅯⅯⅩⅩⅤⅠ
- Chapters: Chapter ⅩⅠⅤ
- Tattoo dates: ⅩⅤⅠⅠⅠ · Ⅲ · ⅯⅯⅩⅩⅠⅤ
Roman numerals have no zero, so 0 stays as it is.
Urdu, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese Numbers
The generator writes numbers in 4 world numeral systems:
| System | 0 to 9 | Unicode start |
|---|---|---|
| Urdu and Persian | ۰۱۲۳۴۵۶۷۸۹ | U+06F0 |
| Arabic-Indic | ٠١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩ | U+0660 |
| Hindi (Devanagari) | ०१२३४५६७८९ | U+0966 |
| Chinese | 〇一二三四五六七八九 | Digit by digit |
Urdu and Persian digits draw 4, 5 and 6 differently from Arabic-Indic digits, so pick Urdu digits for Pakistani and Persian text. Chinese numerals here follow the digit-by-digit style used for years, such as 二〇二六.
Superscript and Subscript Numbers
Superscript and subscript numbers are small digits for math, chemistry and footnotes: x² and 10⁻³ for powers, H₂O and CO₂ for formulas, and a note¹ for footnotes. Superscript and subscript sets include the signs + − = ( ). More small styles are on the small text generator page.
Number Font Ideas
Here are 6 ideas for fancy numbers:
- Birthday in a bio: 🎂 𝟏𝟖.𝟎𝟑
- Follower milestone: 𝟭𝟬𝗞 followers 🎉
- Numbered list: ① Wake up ② Pray ③ Work
- Game name: ꧁Sniper❼꧂
- Jersey number: 𝟙𝟘
- Anniversary: ⅯⅯⅩⅩ ♡
Game names count each styled number as 1 character, and the Free Fire name style generator checks the 12-character limit.
Are There Cursive or Gothic Numbers?
No, Unicode has no script, Fraktur or italic digits, so cursive and gothic styles leave numbers plain. The 5 mathematical digit sets (bold, double-struck, sans, bold sans and monospace) and the enclosed, Roman and world numerals are the only styled numbers in Unicode. Pair a cursive name with bold or double-struck numbers for a matching look.
Where Not to Use Fancy Numbers
Fancy numbers are characters other than the digits 0 to 9, so phones, forms and search boxes do not read them as numbers. Keep phone numbers, prices, order numbers, one-time passwords and account numbers in plain digits, so people can dial, pay and search. Use number fonts for decoration, such as dates, scores, lists and names.
